The Nisse Men Have arrived.

The What?

The Nisse Men !!!

(Pronounced “Niss-er” )

In the dead of night, they took over a shelf in our shop and claimed it as their own.

Most people might know them as Gonks. But having lived in Denmark for a few years, David immediately recognised them when they appeared.

Don’t worry, though. They are very friendly. They secretly act as guardians bringing lots of good luck to anyone who has one in their home. (They especially like to look after cats and dogs and ride around on their backs at night.)

However, please note that they are known to get offended by carelessness, lack of respect, and laziness. They also hate rudeness, swearing or not treating animals with respect. Don’t get on the wrong side of them, as once insulted, they will play tricks on you and hide whatever you are looking for.

Please note – If you let a Nisse Man into your house, don’t forget to give him a gift of porridge with a pat of butter on the top on Christmas Eve. Otherwise, he might eat Rudolph’s carrots, and Santa won’t like that !!!
